1961 Cadillac Coupe de Ville
Priced in between the Series 62 and the Series 60
the Coupe de Ville was available in a two door (shown)
whereas the flagship Series 60 only came with four doors
a little lighter and shorter the Cadillac's all came with a 325hp V-8
Cost: $5,250.00

1961 Cadillac Series 60
Redesigned with a cleaner sculpted look
lower tail fins and a new side trim fin completed the look
in the rear a new oval pod like tail lamp assembly caught your eye
Cost: $6,250.00

1962 Cadillac Series 62
Tail fins shrunk a little this year
and the rear light assembly got spun to a vertical attitude
but all in all the '62 Caddy's didn't change much
the 62 Series convertible (shown) had the distinctive faux wire wheels.

1963 Cadillac Coupe de Ville
Another subtle redesign pushes Cadillac sales to an all time high
selling more than double it's nearest competitor - Lincoln
a new lighter more fuel efficient engine also gave sales a boost
still rated at 325hp performance improved by lessening both the cars and engines weight

1964 Cadillac Eldorado
This was Caddy's top of the line
the Eldorado could be spotted because of it's lack of wheel skirts
with yet smaller fins the cars appeared even longer this model year
also new was a thermostatically controlled comfort system

1965 Cadillac Coupe de Ville
Another facelift leaves Cadillac almost expression less
straight lines and straight forward styling agreed with buyers
sales soared with the Coupe de Ville (shown)
leading the pack
part of the facelift was to spin the head lights so they were also on the vertical axis

1966 Cadillac Fleetwood Broughman
Luxury cars will be judged by a new standard
new to the lineup the Fleetwood Broughman (shown) is posh
with a padded vinyl roof and a super luxurious interior
even heated seats were available in this model
the Coupe de Ville was still the sales leader however
Cost: $6,810.00

1967 Cadillac Eldorado
Personal Coupe is how this new Caddy was described
front wheel drive and closely resembling an Old's Toronado
one inch shorter but a whole lot nicer, this Eldorado
had hidden headlamps, exposed wheels and very crisp styling
although priced $1500. higher than the Old's it sold almost as well

1968 Cadillac Eldorado
No change for Cadillac's "all time best" design
except in the engine, an all new 472 cubic inch ran cleaner
polluted less and delivered 35 more horsepower than the previous 429
side turn lights were also added to meet new Government standards
Cost: $6,588.00

1969 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham
Cadillac is still the top line of the luxury cars
and the Brougham is the top Cadillac line
the Fleetwood is almost like a limousine it so well appointed and spacious
Cadillac has the broadest lineup of luxury cars and
ends the decade where it started, firmly in control of the #1 luxury spot
Cost: $8,815.00
